Agreed. Packets are a form of a PDU (data, and its stages of travel across a data stream). Loosing 100% would mean you don't have a connection.....

300+ miles away. Better ping than the servers close to me.

I would say I am hitting less switches and routers on my route to washington, DC, than I am going to places closer to me. There must be more switches and routers in place, slowing down my ping as it travels through the network.

I'm wondering the same thing haha. Thats crazy high. Unless maybe it rounds up for some reason from a certain number.

Speedtest does do a latency test though, but I'm curious as to what jitter i. Anybody got a clue?

Wouldn't take much, just get off Telstra, that'd be step 1.

I don't particularly know if that's good or bad.

How fast is your upload speed in Internet Connection Test?

Just got fios and connecting the ps3 wirelessly. Curious to know if 10 down and 800K up is fast enough? If I run it wired, I get 25 down and 2.5 up. Wired is very inconvenient.

Right now on Speakeasy my upload is 4.25 Mbps (525 KB) and that is fine for any game I would imagine.

I have Roadrunner Turbo through TimeWarner, which sucks IMO. I get 4.4mb down and 760kb up wired. Wireless I get 3mb down and 500kb up. It does the job for playing online, but downloading things from the PSN or big updates takes forever it seems.
