I cant start a new thread so i decided to ask a question in this thread. Does anyone know if you can Download music videos from X-box live then transfer them to you computer or ps3. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Does XB Live currency earn money for MS?

The currency (points) itself does not earn them money. Sales from the Live currency does. If you buy a 1600 point card for $20, MS doesn't make money on that card. The cards are sold to retailers for less than $20. For example, Best Buy would buy the card from Microsoft for $18, and they would get $2.00 profit from the card. The other $18 (1600 MS points) is split up between MS and the game developer once the DLC is sold. If they sell a map pack for 800 MS points, the developer might get 75% of those 800 MS points, while MS will get 25%.

However, if you buy the points, put them on your Xbox and never spend them...then the retailer just earned $2.00 from you, and MS earned the remaining $18 dollars free and clear (less the cost of the card and packaging, which is probably 50 cents).

How do you change the order in which profiles are signed into Live? I recently created my girlfriend a profile and now it auto-logs in as her and I have to manually log her out and log me in every time. Obviously this does not fly with me. Please help.

Once you are auto-login into her profile, open your profile(just open it anywhere from Media, Games, Etc) at the bottom you'll see "Auto Sign-In" click that and disable it. Now switch to yours and enable it.

Now with my question.

Very easy. When you get the code, just turn on your Xbox 360. Go to the "Marketplace" blade (RED). At the bottom of the blade you will see an option to "Redeem Code". Click on that button and enter your 5x5 code.

they gave me 48 hour free code, and i tryed to put the code in today and i did it right
but it said try again later. so if i have time left it dont let me add any more time??

ok i was going though the 60 gig hard drive to day and MS insatlled a lot of stuff on it can i delete
all this stuff to get more space???

ok here is a question when you put in the code to redeem for xbox live.
is the letters cap sensitive..because i tryed the code again and it said error.
then i called up MS they told me to reset my router and modem.. so i dod.
then i put the code in agian for the 48 hour free trail. and i clicked done.
and it said code invald

OK I FOUND OUT why because the code i was trying to put in the console is a trial.
so i have gold allready it would not let me do it lol

ok i just got crack down and while playing it on my week old 60 gig PS3.
the drive makes werid noise's.. does this game load a lot of info..
then i took the game out and i played Call of duty 2 and gears of war and itwas fine..

I think he meant week old 360 Maybe the disc is scratched, it doesn't make any weird sounds ive noticed, but i just bought crackdown a few days ago, and haven't played it much.

yes i got the game used and it does have light scratches will this effect the console???
the game plays fine

Overall the console should be fine so long as the scratches are slight... I'm sure you're aware it's a big no no to move the X360 whilst it's powered on with a disc in it? If you weren't aware don't do it but if curiosity has you, check youtube for some videos

I am thinking of buying a 360 now (Better late then never) but with the price drop that's been happening and the fact I am unable to remember anything about the 360's price in Aus I was wondering if the 360 has had a price drop recently(In Australia) and if not has there been much word about it getting the price drop soon?
