SKATE demo soon on PSN

Today the demo of SKATE has its debut on XBL and as the source says, the PS3 verison is finished and is in the hands of Sony, now its just waiting ( again) for them to release it to the public. Why o why do they keep holding onto demo's?? Why not release what is ready to the public.????

Its in dutch but just states that EA has confirmed that demo is in Sonys hands...bla bla bla

I hope we can expect it this wednesday or thursday.

I hope it's soon, I have my eye on this game.

I think the only reason Sony holds back demos that are ready is because the list of demos is very sparse. They seem to want to spread things out so that it seems like content is hitting every week or every other week. I realize it doesn't seem that way at all right now, but I see the PS Store growing quite a bit by the end of 2007.

As it is now, if they "blew their load" by putting up every big demo right away, it could be a month or longer before we saw another worthy reason to visit the store.

I disagree. When I compare the US store to the UK store, they seem equal to me. In fact, the UK store is better on some points.

well after playing the 360 version of the demo its pretty impressive with how well they did the controls , BUT i dont really see this game having lasting appeal . after a short while i know ill be missing TH's insane moves and combos and all around lighter take to skateboarding ...

apparently there is going to be a tony hawk demo too. img lad ill be able to compare the two games so i can decide which one i wanna buy. i make myself enjoy tony hawk games cuz i love skating and i have no choice. but im open to playing somethng different if it turns out to be better. billion point combos arent my thing anyways. im fine wit a kickflip back lip down a 10 stair any day

I don't have any clue at the moment. Unfortunately I don't think it will be all that soon. Demos on PS3 are really not a very proven thing yet. There will be one, but I can't say how long it will take to go through the process with Sony.

Maybe steal a friends 360 for a couple weeks?

how about BMX games. has anyone heard any news of any BMX games comming to PS3? i dont understand why the hasnt been any.
the last good bmx experience on playstation was on PS2 - THAW. wallride to backflip tailwhip to manual all day.

Also, I have this really funny idea in my head of like, a demo for a game that shouldn't be out on PS3 finding its way onto the PS Store by accident... Like, we just randomly get a Bioshock demo

There will be most likely another Matt Hoffmans game that will come out, multiplatform though i expect.
