Manhunt 2 OK for US

Hell yes, Manhunt 2 has been given a M rating by the ESRB and is looking for an October release on the PS2, PSP, and Wii

I can't wait to kill again with my favorite friend the crowbar. I think i might have to play some Manhunt tonight just to celebrate. Hopefully it will get the ok for the UK as well, heres hopin.......

Haha...they would be OVER and DONE with if they did that but it would be a great last stand. I hope they find some kind of way (movie form or videos or maybe a special download/code after you complete the game) to show us some of the deleted stuff.

It's not going to be a PS3 game? If so, I'm kinda disappointed. Kinda shows the level of the Wii a little more clearer though.

Well, I wonder how the game was changed so that it could gain the M rating. A good amount of detail was probably removed from the game.

Excellent news. I just restarted the original Manhunt on my PS3 last night. The crowbar is by far the best weapon on there, followed closely by the glass shard.

I can only assume that heavy cuts were made for its original AO rating to be reduced to an M rating...

We won't know the cuts for a while if ever but I am not too worried cause the new ERSB rating is this.....

Intense Violence, Blood and Gore, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content and Use of Drugs.

I don't know about you guys but that still sounds like a good Manhunt experience to me. At least we aren't going to be killing zombies with green blood

ehhh, i dunno, ManHunt, seemd sorta, i dunno, sorta TOO much for me, its not really my style, i guess, but i hear the UK rated ManHunt2 as "AO" so, it may mess with the ESRB here, and make them rethink Video games and whatnot

I'm guessing it will work on the PS3, just a shame I'm in the UK and it won't play imported PS2 games
