My answer: PSP..
Seriously, you get a much better screen and all the functionality you want. I can't wait til MemSticks get cheaper! It all makes sense now.. After all, the machine is hyped as "The next water cooler" and the fans of this water cooler just love to talk about bottom lines, publishers profit margins and stock prices. The world has become one giant office and I must be the guy they're all saying needs to grow up because I still like having fun.

I didn't believe that the battery life on the iPod video was so bad. Makes the PSP look a lot better. You get less storage space, but bigger, brighter screen and more battery life.

Wait, the iPod video's battery life is less than 3 hours? Whoa, lol, I'd get the PSP, then get the Maxell, I think that's what it's called, x2 battery and 4 gigabyte hard drive.

The battery life is 3 hours for watching videos, it is 20 hours for music.

I'm worn out on the iPod brand, only after one purchase. With my grand total of *one* 20GB black and white iPod, I've experienced more problems than most people experience with each different iPod combined. I've had the whole thing freeze up, the Hold button stop working, unbelievable scratching, and the battery started losing it's charge (quite dramatically) after one month. Fortunately, at least one of these problems were covered under the warranty, and my iPod was replaced free of charge...after two and a half months of waiting for it to arrive.
Now, my new iPod (which I've had for 5 or 6 months now) works great. Only problem is a small crack (looks like an oil spill) running down the center of the screen, only visible at certain angles. Too bad that I didn't notice it until my warranty had expired

DUDE the new creative mp3 player is amazing, it leaves the ipod video on the floor. I want one of those, Ipod is getting too overrated.

It looks cool... but it's not much of an interest to me. I don't need an MP3 player that can play videos too. I don't want to watch videos on such a small screen.
