Did you get that off the show on one of the espn's because they were talking about that. I think he has a good shot be something...I mean throwing a no hitter in ur 2nd mlb start got's to prove your worth a ****..so yeah barring injury I think he could become a household name in a couple years.

i am a huge sox fan and have follwed him in the minors for the last year or so and once they give him a regular spot in the rotation probaly next year when they drop shilling or if wakefield retires because of his back. he will become a great number 2 or 3 starter depending on how matsuzaka continues to develop and will probally be in allstar games and cy young voting in 1 or 2 more years

i am not sure he will ever become one of those untouchable ace type pitchers because his fastball is on the slow side but one thing he has proven here and in his milb career the kid has ice water in his vain's and that he is someone you want on the bump in a high pressure situation

Fastball slow ? I watched the sportscenter clip and it hit 95(unless I'm seeing things), that's not slow..that's good, sure it isn't impressive like Verlander ect..slow in the majors IMO is 91 and below and even it doesn't matter if you can hit the locations correctly. But yeah it's way to early to get a good prediction on him just because he threw a no hitter so early.

i guess slow was not the right word but 95-97 is when his fastball is up in zone with not that much control it is usually in the 91-93 range down in the zone he will probaly add a a few mph to that as he adds muscle to his body to deal with a long mlb season (i think he is 6'3 190) but any way what i was saying was that his fastball is not a plus pitch and more of a average for his style of pitching

I see, I like 12-6 curve though. Too bad the Pirates didn't draft him, all they know how to draft is under performing pitchers. Only 2 have been good in recent memory and that's Snell and Gorzelanny and even them are just above average and not all star material.

I'd say Colbert getting a tv show is more so.
