Hi I was woundering do you need an dvd drive for your PC to play games?! Becuase on my frinds farcry game it has dvd writtin on it and wont play in mine. Is there any games that you can play without a dvd drive?! Like farcry,halflife 2,sims,fear,halo,doom,need for speed,etc?

Well if the game is on a dvd then you should have one.
I know that doom 3 comes on cd, and halflife 2 you can buy via steam, so those two you can play.
