The official story: "Microsoft does not comment on rumors or speculation."--Microsoft spokesperson.
What we heard: While "NexTbox" has been tossed around for a while as a potential name for the next Xbox, this week saw the first time someone purported to have photographic and video evidence of it. Problem is, said evidence was laughably amateurish. The video was a shaky camcorder shot of a bland, simplistic logo (pictured) that an eighth-grader could have slapped together. And while Microsoft isn't denying its authenticity, one would almost certainly expect the multibillion-dollar corporation to hire a designer that had a slightly greater Photoshop skills.
Bogus or not bogus?: The name might not be bogus, but the logo almost certainly is.

saw that fake about a year ago. Someone has resurfaced it by simply displaying it on a computer monitor or TV and snapping a picture.

It also looks horrible. I don't think they'd downgrade their logo for next-gen. That wouldn't make any sense.

This... is my BOOMSTICK!

More and more information on the PlayStation 3 are getting revealed as launch draws near, and Japanese game company, SEGA has just revealed the launch dates for two of its upcoming titles. According to an article on qj.net, SEGA will be launching Sonic The Hedgehog on December 21 and Miyazato San Kyoudai Naizou Sega Golf Club on November 11 in Japan. Both titles will be retailing for Y6800 (about USD57).
At the moment, SEGA has not revealed any launch details for these games in other countries, and has not hinted at their pricing strategy abroad, although it is likely that the games will be retailing for around USD59- the same price announced by Activision.
Sony has not revealed any pricing for first-party games, and earlier told gamers at E3 that pricing will be left up to individual game developers and publishers.
