Italian trade magazine Gamestore reveals 40GB SKU and price drops in days!

40GB PS3 Surfaces in Italy

The cat is out of the bag... which is a pretty ironic thing to say if the news is coming from Italy.

In any case, Italian trade magazine Gamestore reveals that the 40GB Playstation 3 is due to hit Italian stores on October 10, retailing for €399, the European match for the US price of $399 bucks.

The console will also reportedly be available with two games and an extra controller for €499.

Officially, Sony still remains silent, but c'mon! Regardless, the formalities will be out of the way on Oct. 12.

That's quite a bit of points.. too bad they don't do custom tags here like they do on GAF. Anyway, yes there are a lot of great games coming out soon. My wallet will be feeling it for quite some time...
