The game is being released next month, and there's loads of other stuff to play until that. No need for a demo

There is no demo on any platform because the game is too open (non linear) it would be difficult to corner off one section of the game just for a demo

They've already confirmed that there will be no demo...but that's not because of the lame excuses they made.

The reason is plain and simple--Why didn't Lair have a demo? Hmmmm....cuz it wasn't as good as the hype. That's why they don't want an Assassin's Creed demo...this game may be good, but I have a strong suspicion it will not be near as good as it's suppose to be.

Heavenly Sword shouldn't have had a demo...the demo did not do the game any justice--most disliked it because it was so basic, short, and plain. Sometimes demos can HURT the sales of the game more than help.

I also have a feeling that this game might not be all its hyped up to be. I don't know why I get that feeling. Something about Jade Raymond's interview. She seemed to boast about the game, yet she seemed nervous and elusive at the same time. It just gives me that GTA4 vibe, like things aren't going according to schedule or plan. So that is why I don't think there will be a demo.

Also releasing a game in the holiday season isn't always a good sign. It could be they needed more time, but it also could be so people buy it up as gifts without considering reviews or word of mouth. I guess we'll see.

OR because they want to sell their game when people are spending the most money...I mean you wouldnt say the same about Haze, Uncharted, (GTAIV was slated for this time), COD4. Devs just want to sell the most as possible, and Christmas shopping season is when people spend THE MOST money all year. So a game releasing around Christmas doesnt mean that they are going to be reaching for sales....

but i do agree that it is NOT going to live up to the hype....i see a repeat of lair

I think there may be a Demo for it but only after it launches. With all the hype on this game the name alone will sell lots of copies. Once the rush is over they may put out a demo to generate more sales like The Darkness" did.
