Hokay, so on October ninth, i shall finally get verison fios. When they come, they sould be able to hard wire my basement, where my "gaming center" is. If they do, then getting a 360 is in the question. Can someone answer me these question 3? Cough five cough
1 Should i wait a lil bit? I heard that MS might lower the price for the premiem on Oct. 13. Im not sure if this is true.
2 Is an intercooler practically required for it not to get red rings of death?
3 What are good games, preferably ones that have 4 player on 1 system?
4 I'm thinking a couple more wireless controllers. Should i invest in rechargable batteries?
5 What are good games that are going to come out?

there might be games packed in but i don't see another actual price drop untill next year
2 Is an intercooler practically required for it not to get red rings of death?
no it's not needed, get one with the dual heatsinks, Ms gives a 3 year warranty so if something did happen they have you covered
3 What are good games, preferably ones that have 4 player on 1 system?

get one if you like the games. i've had over 30 games on mine when it died and the only one i played was gears of war. go figure. if you do get one, get rechargable batteries, saves a lot of money. i never got the ring of death but my video card went out. just my luck.

1. I would wait, not only will the price more than likely drop but youll have a better chance of getting a falcon which SHOULD prevent the RROD.
2. The intercooler actually increases the chance of RROD.
3. The only one I can think of off of the top of my head is Gears of War.
Youll probably get more responses regarding this from people who actually have a 360.
4. It depends. I personally would just get charge and Play for all of them. I would figure out how much either of them is going to cost.
for four controllers it would cost you roughly around $80 ($20 a piece last time I checked) for the plug and play in which you can recharge your controller while you play.

The 360 has a great lineup right now so get one if you love gaming on hrs on end with friends online. I feel its a must to get a 360 from best buy and a 2yr replacement plan ($59). So when your 360 craps out , you just drive to the store and get a brand new one same day and don't have to deal with waiting and receiving a referbished console from microsoft.
Playstation Network ID : ItGetzReal
Gaming on a 60GB ps3 and Sony 60" SXRD Higher Def Tv: Games I own : Heavenly Sword , Guitar Hero III , NBA 2K8

1. You wont have any regrets getting a 360. Their loads of good games on it. go for it
2. Intercooler isnt really required, it wont help prevent RROD.
3. Loads of games, ill name few PGR4, Halo 3, Gears of war, Blue Dragon, Bioshock, Forza...
4. I use rechargable batteries and I find it useful, plus if you dont use it for the controller you can always use it for something else, so no loss.
5. Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Fable 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Alan Wake..
edit: I would say that theres always a possibility for the 360 to get messed up, most of the people I know got the RROD...but as long as its possible for you to send your console to microsoft than I dont see any problem...If its easy for you to send your console for repairs than I would say go for it.. but If you live in a place like me where its hard for me to send my console to MS than I'd say wait alittle...

I think you should go for it! Microsoft has improved the 360's hardware dramatically in the last few months, in fact I bought a new HDMI enabled Premium a of couple months back, and I can say for a fact that it runs a lot cooler and quitter then the old ones do! I haven't had any problems with it, and I haven't heard of anyone who has had problems with the new ones! If you're getting a premium just make sure it has HDMI in it (although I think they all do on store shelves now!) Elites have the HDMI too, they should also be ok!
And you shouldn't miss this holiday season with Bioshock and Halo 3! Those will keep you busy for months, both are absolutely amazing! And of course you have to go back and get the classic Gears of War! If you like RPG's there's also Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata, which I'm really enjoying right now. PGR4 if you’re a racing fan, Dead or Alive 4 if your a fighting fan.
Other notable titles coming later this year include Mass Effect, Ace Combat 6, Virtual Fighter 5 (with online play), Call of Duty 4, Half-Life 2: Orange Box, Viva Pinata: Party Animals, Naruto: Rise of the Ninja, and Assassin's Creed!
Next year we already have Lost Odyssey coming in February, Halo Wars will also be early in the year, as well as Devil May Cry 4! Later in 2008 comes Alan Wake, Too Human, Fable 2, Banjo 3, the Peter Jakason Halo Project, Splinter Cell Conviction, Infinite Undiscovery, Grand Theft Auto 4, Ninja Gaiden 2, Resident Evil 5, and I guessing Gears of War 2! Along with others titles from Microsoft Game Studios and third parties that have yet to be announced.
Anyway you look at it you can't go wrong with the 360!

If you go to a website called xbox-scene theyll normally tell you how to confirm which models have what serial numbers and the like. So basically, theyll help you confirm which model you would be getting.
If you dont want to wait, I say go for it, just be sure to pick up a warranty with it that way you dont have to wait a month or longer to get it replaced.

a console is only as good as the games that are out on it. so if there are games you like on a specific console go for it.

At least in EU if you are buying an Xbox 360 make sure it has HDMI output since those units have extra cooling and in most cases the new and quiet Benq drive. Those units were made on July 07.
We believe multiple SKUs just confuse consumers so we will just stick to one SKU....a year later... 20GB, 40GB (no BC), 60GB (US full BC, EU limited BC), 80GB, 160GB, more to come...

#1 you might want to wait till black friday (end of Nov.) for dome good deals on 360 premium and games. If your going to buy an elite, there won't be deals like those for the premium.
#2 intercooler: not necessary, just make sure you buy a store warranty (2+years to be safe)
#3 halo 3, graw 2/RS3 vegas, Gears of war, and possibly perfect dark. You might like Bioshock(but its sp only)
#4 It's up to you, you can just buy play/charge kits or go with you own rechargeable batteries.
#5 Pgr4 available now, Ace combat 6, Mass effect(sp only, but it will be an awesome game), The orange box, possibly NFS Pro Street.
