All of these game's have been released, praised and hated.
But of all of them? What is your favorite Final Fantasy??


For me it would have to be FF8, The plot for it differed from previous Final Fantasy games, and the Graphics were a huge step up from the previous.
FF8 had awesome background music, cuter Chocobo's and Great background music and who can forget..THE GUNBLADE!
The most strange unpractical weapon ever.

I would say that FFVII is my favourite.

HOPEFULLY within the next year or two I will be able to say that FFXIII is my favourite in the series

Well FVII for me it was the first FF game i played and i loved it

FFX, I tried playing a few of the old ones on my psp, but I couldn't really get into them. FFX had a great story and amazing graphics for its time.

FFX followed by XIII. X had fantastic character progressions.

It would have to be 7, 10 and 8 in that order. 9 was aweful in my opinion. I just never found the story or characters convincing. 8 was good for the big map and limit breaks. 10 was just a superb story start to finish with beautiful music and settings.

I liked 8 cause it was actually hard..

7 was ok but Barret was a stereotypical black man which made Square look racist..
Cloud never talked and was a spoilt Child..
and Caitsith?!!? dear god..
Still Cid was cool so was Tifa and Sephiroth.. it's not bad it's very good just not my favourite.

FFIX is deffinetly my faverite loved it's story and music and it was my first FF after that i don't know.
The rest comes pretty equal IMO

I love FF 12 because it had a different storyline bigger enviornments, great characters, and new battle system.

Final Fantasy 6 was the first one i played, and I like that the best.

Then 9, I really liked the ye old fantasy setting. Then FF 7.

FFVII was my first Final Fantasy (I was 8 when it came out but probably didn't buy it till 9 maybe). Anyways, my fav. story wise would be FFX/FFVII but combat system I like FFXII.

The worst FF's are 1,2,3 and 10

Storywise FFX has simply the worst story out of all of them (not counting 1,2,3 in here), it seemed like it was written by a 40 year old virgin and a retarded teenage girl. Too much fanservice also. **** you square

You forgot Mysic Quest, that was the first Final Fantasy I played. It's not my favorite but it really got me into the Final Fantasy games. My favorite though would have to be Final Fantasy VII, III, or IX. I really liked IX cause I wasn't expecting much after VIII, yeah I didn't care much for that game, and then IX came and was just a classic.

I like FF9, I like the Story, I like the Characters.
But one thing you must never say is, the music was good.
FF9 HAD THE WORST MUSIC EVER!! IT WAS HORRIBLE.
But the rest of it was great.

1. FF VII - The first Final Fantasy that actually got me emotional.

2. FF VIII - The story was a little hard to follow, and a bit preposterous, but it worked I guess.

3. FF X - Again, hard to follow story line, but still good none the less.

4. FF IV - I didn't have an SNES, so I would play at my friend's house until his mother kicked me out. I didn't finish this game until about 2 years ago when I got the PSOne version of it (bundled with Chrono Cross I think)

5. FF I - Gotta give it up to a classic. I remember trading SMB III to get this game.
