No he means the PSN 2.00.As far as i know it allows users to transfer game related media content to others on the PSN,like youtube or something.And they have added a couple of security measures on that feature to make it suitable for all ages(DUH!)

Its just an update to the terms of service, meaning you use a service they provide with certain rules. Such as no harassment no hacks etc. The usual stuff. Companies send out emails or notices on their site when this is changed, its basically to protect themselves. People are confusing the update (because its version 2.0) with the firmware update.

I'm sure they are up to something. If you read the red clauses, it hints at some type of new service, hence the revised and new user agreement. Obviously, they got something up their sleeves which might have something to do with user generated content of some sort or even uploading service.
I'm sure you folks know when Insomniac pushed the release date of Ratchet and Clank back a week, they said 'it will be worth it'!

i dont understand why he needs to google something if he can get EXCACTLY what he wants from here and can also discuss something he doesnt understand

and no im not going to google my questions.
will this make a difference to psn at all? or is it only one of those terms and conditions thing we have to sign before we register to something. im reading that we can upload clips to psn, but i dont understand how we are going to do this without something like SKATE has built into it. does this possibly mean we are going to get a built in camera like those ones people pay lotst of money for so they can film of there tv clearly?

If it has been answered 300 times, then skip it or something... others will be more generous and help them out. Heash, please don't base your opinion of this site on a few rude people. There are plenty of great people on here who love to help and love the ps3 as well!

My opinion is that while this 2.0 agreement does not mean we will see Home or Firmware 2.0 or whatever, it does firm up the agreement to allow for sharing, such as will be available in HOME. So I believe it signals a ramp up of this functionality in the near future.
