Did anyone happen to watch the Stars Coyotes game? I happened to be there, and dont think im being a fan here, but wtf is wrong with the Refs?
1 Dallas was going mad with tripping but the Refs would not call it at all. Instead they kept turning around and calling roughing whenever we got a scoring chance.
2 It was clear they were mad at the coyotes or the fact the whole crowd was calling them retards because they came to a point where they cant even call offsides or anything on the Stars. I mean the dallas guy was almost nearly at the face off circle gets the pass and then a breakaway. He even went to turn around and get ready for a face off yet the Ref that was standing right there didnt do ****.
It was like the the whole game and it was ridiculous! If it wasnt for that then they would have gotten 3 power play goals and we would of had a chance.
I was sitting next to die hard stars fans and even they were sitting there like "wtf, thats odd"

Lmao... the leafs... that never gets old..
Anyways. Im thinking that Jones will get a suspension, but it won't be as long as the Boulderice or Downie suspensions because there was ZERO intent to injure, it was mostly Bergerons fault because he didnt properly prepare himself for a hit that you should always be prepared to take. Plus Jones has no history of this in the past.
Im guessing 10 games due the injuries.[SIGPIC]http://www.ps3forums.com/image.php?type=sigpic&userid=52079&dateline=119007 9385[/SIGPIC]*RAW IS JERICHO*

Looks like Jones will be sitting for a few (2) games due to the hit on Bergeron.
I feel that that's a reasonable suspension. The hit wasn't horrible but it still knocked Bergeron out cold. I was expecting either no suspension at all up to five games."While it is my determination that Jones did not intend to injure his opponent, he did deliver a hard check to a player who was in a vulnerable position," said NHL Senior Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations Colin Campbell. "There have been suggestions by some that this hit was comparable to incidents earlier this season where players received significant game suspensions for blows to the head. These comparisons and suggestions are wrong," Campbell added.
I wonder when Bergeron will be back on the ice... hopefully pretty soon, the B's need him.

I wouldn't have doubted if he just didn't get suspended, but he did get the fine though.

10-30-2007 #31It was Bergerons fault for not preparing himself for a hit he knew would be following. Players have to start realizing that when you go to play the puck in the boards, you are GOING to get hit."While it is my determination that Jones did not intend to injure his opponent, he did deliver a hard check to a player who was in a vulnerable position," said NHL Senior Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations Colin Campbell. I can say I did enjoy the Sharks vs. Stars game on Versus. Good for Setoguchi, who got 2 goals on his first NHL game.

Yeah, the Sharks won 4-2. They were losing 2-1, but they scored 3 goals in less than 10 minutes, 2 by Setoguchi and 1 by Bernier.

Sens re-signed Jason Spezza for 7 years at I BELIEVE 49mil. With that being said, Brian Murray is saying that they probably wont be able to hold on to Wade Redden.
Thats ****ing stupid, why pay him that much, when hes NEVER played a full season, when you cant keep your defense solid.[SIGPIC]http://www.ps3forums.com/image.php?type=sigpic&userid=52079&dateline=119007 9385[/SIGPIC]*RAW IS JERICHO*

Sigh...The Stars aren't doing so hot this year. Sitting at a 7-7-4 record when last year they started a nice 10-0.
