Once only a dream of Metal Gear Solid fans is now a reality. Hideo Kojima leads Silicon Knights, a Nintendo second-part developer, and Ryohei Kitamura, a famed Japanese director, rewrites the stage direction for the cutscenes. This is looking like a true remake.
Graphically, the game looks definitely better than it's counterpart. The snow now doesn't looking like falling pixels, the enemy guards now wear helmets, the textures, even though they were untouched in the demo, are being remade, and are not getting glitches like they did in the Playstation original. What I mean by glitches are that textures that are far away from the camera don't clutter up or flash away anymore. That should be expected anyways. It is, after all, five years after the original's release date. Snake looks even better than he does in Metal Gear Solid 2.

This is great news to here. A great game but making it even better.
Wish SquarEnix would do the same for OLD Final Fantasy.

Looks good. I would get it if I had a gamecube. Again Heerokenshin post in your own words Mr puppet
.
If you put limits on yourself on what you do, you may aswell be dead.It will eventually spread into your entire being. There are no limits only plateauxs. You must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you.

I think the second paragraph of his first post was in his own words. I like people posting articles, I just dont like it when they put them up but dont say a thing. Thanks for the pic's heerokinshin.
Edit:
The pic's are amazing by the way, I cant wait to lay hands on it. I never really got into the original (except for demos) on PS so this will be a good game for me to get.

MGS on the PSone was one of my favourite games ever. I thoroughly enjoyed it more than MGS2. MGS2 was too linear, and the bomb difusel section was boring and repetitive. I would love to play this game again. It was just the perfect game. Any Metal Gear Fan who has never played the first game should definitely get this game. It was just so close to perfection, even on the PSone. I guess I really liked Gray Fox (the Ninja) and he appears in this game. Also I like the way its set in the near future like around 2005, although I'm not sure of the exact time. I just think in general the game had a better story line and characters than MGS2. The characters were really weak in MGS2. Emma Emmerich, Olga Gurlukavich.... they were pretty boring characters. Whereas the PSone version has Liquid, Vulcan Raven, Sniper Wolf, Psycho Mantis and most of all my favourite Grey Fox. Oh and no awful Raiden

Metel Gear solid 2 diminishes any sense of acomplishment through the game due to changing missions and no credit for actually doing something at the end. It's like a 2 disc game.
PLEASE INSERT DISC 2...........................If you put limits on yourself on what you do, you may aswell be dead.It will eventually spread into your entire being. There are no limits only plateauxs. You must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you.

The storyline was a bit flimsy too, didn’t really compare with MGS. There should have been more opportunity to mess around with the guards. I felt that you only got all the really fun weapons right at the end and you never really got to use them against the guard’s cause your forced to finish the game once your in arsenal gear and you can’t go back to the upper levels of Big Shell.

A few years ago I was fortunate and the first game I played after getting a Ps1 for xmas was MGS, so obviously a big step up from sonic the hedgehog
. lol. I had no idea what MGS would be like but I became addicted from the very beginning. I saw the briefing footage which was an extra outside the game (fans u know what I mean, where we're introduced to Snake how much a badass he is) and I thought wow! Everything was great about it, the subtle details such as footprints in the snow to the classical sounding song that featured in emotional stages of the game. That's another good thing about it, it isn't just a mindless shoot 'em up, it is moving at some points. Though it maybe lacking game play (not exactly the longest game) it was still great. I wonder what the film industry would be like if Kojima became a film director instead? Bring on Snake Eater!!!

I have already posted my thoughts on metalgear solid 2 in the "the story was screw up thread"( I mean to press reply not create new thread) but metalgear soldiw ouldn't work as a movie or it would be really hard to do and as for hideo kojima making a move, When he was young he use to watched alot of american films(thats why his movies are all based on U.S)

In my opinion mgs2 was a good game however it was really short (btw i bought substance) i like the soldiers on the ship they looked so kl and the soldiers looking after the many metal gear rexs u kno the ones with jump packs however yeah i dunno they copulda done the story a bit better it was a little lame i mean the 1st one was so amazing with physco mantice and that stuff but in mgs u have this guy who is fat on roller skater its a joke with all that armour he was wearing he wouldnt be able to skate and his size pfff. But i still think it was worth the money coz the game play was kl stealth and rpgs r my favorite.

Motor Storm
Forget everything you know about racing, forget about laps, tracks, and nice exotic cars.
Motor Storm is an off-road game by Evolution Studios, their first next generation title design exclusively for the Playstation 3.
Motor Storm delivers massive, barbaric, and intense off-road racing, the game emerge the players in a unique, yet bigger than life experience. In the game, there is no rules, no law, just your car and miles and miles of open road. There are no friends, and every rival will try to throw you out of the race, there is no time to be Mr. Nice guy.
The game plug players into a savage environment awash with grit, mud, and oil,, where the standard rules or racing are no more than word. There is a massive range of vehicles to choose from dirt bikes, ATVs, and rally cars to monster trucks, and everything in between. Every car has its pros and cons, and it all depend on the terrain and driving style. The level of destruction in the environments, as well as in the cars is breath taking; the level of detail makes this game truly next generation.
This is a game to look forward next generation; it will redefine the culture of racing. Its not just another racing game, it’s a lifestyle.
Tell me what you guys think. :P
There is not much news on this game. But i can add some more
