Are you serious? Who the hell cares where or when the game is placed. It is going to be amazing either way.
It should take place in Europe during WW2........ no, I think the world has had enough with WW2 shooters.
Cuba would be interesting. Maybe I'm just partial though. Would love to see some jungle, and parachute-sized mosquitos.

Impossible. Maybe it's the 2010 COD,but it can't be MW2It makes no sense to call it Modern Warfare if the action takes place in 60's 'Nam.
Although a Vietnam War COD would be EPIC..
Depends on the definition of modern, but it's not classic trench to trench warfare, or even more ancient, column warfare.

I could never get into the CoD games for some reason. Think I'll be giving this one a try though, see if I can figure out what all the fuss is about.

yup... it should be good... i have always been addicted to RPGs untill CoD4 came out, it amazed me... it brought me into ONE of the best games i'll ever play, its worth a try atleast, i hate the people who criticize games when they haven't even played the game... CoD6 should be a game of the year, they've been working on it for a while now

They're actually talking about the game after MW2. The game Treyarch will be developing, so they're saying that treyarch are dropping WWII and moving on to Cuba or Vietnam.
it could still be placed in Vietnam while having a modern warfare guns, remember the story is fictional. anyway, i think their talking about the cod that treyarch is making, not modern warfare2.
