North American PSN Update; April 15

Much like the Eurpeans today, North America received a special Tuesday update as well.  You can also expect a full update on Thursday that will include the downloadable version of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.  We've included the update list below:

Game Add-ons:

  • Super Stardust HD Solo Add-on Pack ($4.99)
    This upgrade pack for Super Stardust HD requires the original game. It will add new game modes: Endless, Survival, Bomber and Time Attack. Arcade Mode now features the Easy difficulty. A new Retro soundtrack has been added.
  • Lair Dragons and Control Pack (free)
    Get two new playable dragons, analog flight controls, rumble support and enhanced PSP Remote Play support. It's what the game should've had from the start.

    nice update now i may have to go get my Lair back to give these analog controls a shot

    the only hot thing on the way is gta4, all talk about this update and the main thing that was done was the psn store. The count down is for gta4 and then so on and so on.

    the update is not that spectacular but lets hope thursday will be worth it , hopefully HOME is included

    You guys are seriously bad mouthing this update?  I mean it clearly states the real update is on thursday and this is bonus.  Its like saying OK on thursday I will give you a million dollars, but for today I will give you $100.  Then you having the gull to say cheap bastard under your breath.

    lookin forward to gt5 prologue. By the way IGN gave the game a 8.5 which is decent, but they gave the graphics a 9. But i won't let no review stop me to purchase this game.

    No one mentioned that the Shivering Isles expansion pack is now available in the U.S. store. As well as the Warhawk expansion will be added on thursday.

    this update was proably just to check everything worked so when thurdsay comes they wont have any issues with the store

    i want metalica's "one" for rock band and i'll be happy. maybe tomorrow as long as it doesn't turn out like home...., well at least i know home is coming unlike that..
