How to score in Grand Theft Auto IV

[Editor’s Note: If you don't want to learn information about the girls you can date in Grand Theft Auto IV, do not read – move forward at your own discretion.]

Let’s all be honest, there is nothing more annoying than a nagging girlfriend/boyfriend who won’t stop blowing up your cell phone with phone calls or text messages. On top of this, it is even more annoying when that one night stand seems to think there is a second date on the horizon, so if you’re tired of dealing with the hassle of wondering what you have to do to just “hit it and quit it,” we’re here to help. This guide of love will teach you everything you need to know about getting some action in Grand Theft Auto IV without the fear of contracting an STD from a hooker walking the industrial side of town. Niko doesn't like STDs.

Michelle

Michelle can best be described as: “A girl who just wants to know more and more about you.” Not only are you now incapable of just playing it off like you’re listening to her talk, but you have to answer questions coherently to prove you’re listening. Seriously – just stop talking and take it Michelle.

When you first start dating Michelle, you’ll only have that cheap Russian junket store to deal with for clothing, so you’ll pretty much be set to impress her. For some odd reason Michelle loves the Russian style of clothing Niko sports and has a strong distaste for clowns with slicked back hair and Perseus clothing. Modo is also not a choice if you’re trying to get some action from this curious cat.

Roman’s Cab seems to impress her most. We’re not sure if this is because she enjoys free rides in a cab or if it’s because she’s more interested in what you have to say instead of what kind of car you drive (crazy world apparently). This makes the road to Graceland that much easier without the hassle of having to steal a car to impress her.

If you’re looking for the cheapest route in boosting Michelle’s likeness for you, there is no better way to go than to play Darts and Pool with her. Not only does this give you something else to focus on while she rambles away, but at least you’ll be mildly entertained with her comments about how great you are at pool/darts. If you’re one of those guys who just like to set women off and watch them tumble, just try taking Michelle to the Strip Club, she’ll definitely love you for it – maybe.

Now that you’ve done everything in your power to impress her, it’s time to get her back home so you can make your move and listen to her beg for more…information about you.

Alexandra Chilton (Liberated Woman – hah)

Alexandra Chilton is one of the first internet chicks you can pick up. Don’t sweat it your friends won’t laugh at you for this later on down the road. To date Alexandra, you’ll have to browse the net to “Craplist.net” and she can be found in the “Women seeking Men” section under the name Liberated Woman. Just click the “contact me” option and you’ll get a response from her in due time.

You know the girls who only date men who wear sophisticated clothing and also have a foreign accent? Well, that’s Alexandra. This girl is not only overtly annoying with her dialog, but she actually thinks she’s witty and impressive. Little does she know you’re just trying to add a notch to your belt and a blog entry on her website as far as how the date went. This girl is definitely going to cost you a pretty coin if you’re planning to get in bed with her as quick as possible and then cut loose. Alexandra only accepts the best, so you’re going to have to shop at Perseus if you’re hoping to get anywhere with her at a heightened rate. Anything else just won’t do and you’ll have to put up with more constant complaining if you show up dressed in Modo or Russian mob-wear.

The vehicle you drive will make a difference for this liberated woman ... (continued on next page)

Wow!!!! Too much to read about scoring!

Better spend my time scoring in real life!!! (lame joke, I know)

On the topic, I still dont get caught in the GTA hype. I´ve played the X360 version on Gamestop and after 5 minutes I got bored! I know, I wasnt even trying to catch the story (or multiplayer), just some mindless car crashes, pedestrian runovers and getting the cops to catch me. It still doesnt do it for me. I still dont like the gameplay mechaniscs. CoD4 gives me enjoyment even though I repeatdly play over and over again.

I was soooo hyped for this game. When i first played it i was blown away ....but honestly for some unknown reason it's just not doing it for me anymore...its like im forcing myself to like it more then i really do....its nothing compared to the feeling i got and continued to have while playing C.O.D.4 ....and i was way more hyped for GTA4 ....

oh and by the way i know they're different games....i like both styles....so comparing the two in my case is justified.

and the CHASING people down missions ...OMG i wanna efing kill someone when they get away and you have to start over.....

Lol, I was able to get some after my second date with the first girl!   I guess I just have skills.

Edit: PSU banned me for saying her name.  This game is becoming more fun the longer I play it.

    Totally Twisted...

I agree with you about the underwhelmingness of this game. Yes, it is pretty. And yes, the mechanics are greatly improved. But I would argue that there is not enough to do.

I am a fanboy, but this statement is not because of it: The game is suffering from being  multiplatform. There are so many hings left out because there is not enought space. There are only a few outfits. There is no property to buy(which is annoying when you want to save). There really is no point to having money. You keep all the weapons you have when you die and rarely will the police bust you over killing you.

There is just not enough balance, it almost seems like a test. Vice City and San Adreas were the same as GTAIII, but with more stuff. Imagine 5 times more space on the Bluray. I am willing to bet that GTAV (which is already being cooked up) will be exclusive, and it will feel more rounded. I'm already bored with GTAIV.

I agree with you bouth (Totally Twisted & infernaut). I was really hyped for for this game before and during release. I played for about 4 hours and lost interest. All I do no now is plug in the cheats & blow up/shoot everthing in sight. Oh Yeah, and the vehicles are pretty cool too (with the cheats). **SIGH** I will still play COD4 and Rock Band more. That's pretty bad, These 2 games are a lot older yet I still enjoy them more that GTA4.

This is kind of a *spoiler*, not that it totally gives away any major point(s) of the game, but you guys (PSU) might want to consider putting a spoiler notice into stuff like this. People may want to figure these types of things out on their own. Funny stuff though :)

I dont know what game you guys are playing but its not GTA4 the online is incredible the story mode is great and its the best game out. I havent lost interest with this game and its been fantastic all the way threw. The story gets better and better with each and every mission.

Please don't get on my case for asking this, but is it possible to date guys?   I tried to date some marked as "gay' but they all respond with "not interested".  Is this at all possible?  I figured you could kinda do this in Bully, so it's a little disappointing that so far I can't seem to do it in GTA4.

@chawknz:  Nobody should make fun of you, but at least you'll know who all the mature people are here.  I think RockStar had enough to worry about with other features getting bashed by media that they didn't need to hear they were promoting gay sex.

    ---

From what I've heard, GTA IV looks nice but San Andreas was much more fun.  I hope I'm wrong when I pick up my copy.

GTA4 is a great game. I am not gay but to be honest with you I think it would be funny to see them promoting gay relation. The way the game is set up with dates and junk is you gotta build up trust and get to know the person then you get to do the deed. Same way gay people do it too. I dont see why they shouldnt of added if and if you want your guy to be gay he should be gay. I really think they just need to let everyone free if a guy wants to marry a guy let them do it the government shouldnt bash on a game since there expressing their views on gay relations threw a game.

Well I'm enjoying this game ALOT. I do think that if this was a PS3 exclusive we would have seen more things added to the game (like more interiors etc).

One thing I'm confused about with the dating is, when you finally get lucky with the girls on the uncensored version do you only see the apartment from the outside like in San Andreas? Or is it like in this pic :
