Assassin's Creed goes gold

Ubisoft has announced that its forthcoming Assassin’s Creed title has now entered manufacturing for its North American release next month.

Due to be released on November 13 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the game will ship as a standard retail edition for USD 60, or in a special edition package for USD 70.

“We've been working very hard for nearly four years to make Assassin's Creed a reality and now there is a confirmed date when players will get to experience the results of our efforts. This is a huge event for the team. Our biggest reward will be everyone having a lot of good solid fun”, commented Assassin’s Creed Producer, Jade Raymond.

The game will release in Ubisoft’s third fiscal quarter, where the European publisher expects to generate a six per cent increase, with sales reaching EURO 330. Also joining Assassin’s Creed in the company’s line-up of holiday games is Haze, Naruto: Rise of a Ninja and Rayman Raving Rabbids 2.

    Does the PS3 version need an extra disc for the making of? Couldn't they just use the space on Blu-Ray?

    I havent heard of any further complaints from either camp (or the devs for that matter) about AI balancing for either consoles.  Thing of the past perhaps?
