Team ICO to show new project "very soon"

Shadow of the Colossus fans will have something to cheer about in the near future, with Sony's Worldwide Studios head Shuhei Yoshida confirming the long-rumoured new Team ICO project will be shown to press and consumers "soon" - ending years of internet speculation and rumour.
Yoshida stated that he "couldn't tell" if an unveiling will take place at TGS, but that the team had been "working very hard since the release of Shadow of the Colossus, and that we'll "soon see" what they have in store. Plans for Tokyo have yet to be finalised, so it could still happen under the gaze of Japan's premier trade show.
“Tokyo’s more focused on consumers so we’re still working on the intricacies,” he stated, teasing the fanbase a little further.
With Fumito Ueda at the helm and a gestation period covering years rather than months, you can almost guarantee it'll be worth the wait. 2009 is looking rosy.

I love ICO & SOC. Both games were beautiful design & different gameplay style from any other game. Playing the games felt like you were playing in an Epic movie. The one thing I hope that they do that they didnt do in the previous games is MAKE THE GAME LONGER!

This willl be freakin awesome! Shadow really pushed ps2 hardware with the insanely huge bosses that we havent even seen the likes of which on ps3 yet.
They were already trying realistic physics on ps2, on ps3 I expect a much huger world, absolutely stunning graphics, ridiculously huge beasts and really realistic physics.
i really do expect that this coule be my favorite game of all time.

what can they possibly do to top shadow of the colossus? this is absolutely, no doubt, the #1 title i'm looking most forward to. i can't imagine what kind of unique game they'll come up with next.

Shadow of the colossus was way ahead of its time. That experience was so unique and different. Hope they show it at TGS (starting at the 9. of October).
