The latest issue of Game Informer’s lifted the curtains on two classic brawlers set to appear in NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat – the sultry Jade and four-armed freak, Goro.
Both fighters have made multiple appearances throughout the series, with Goro first showing up as a sub-boss in the inaugural arcade classic, while Jade debuted as a hidden combatant in MKII.
Goro is depicted in the publication scrapping it out in his iconic lair, which is described by the mag as "dark and grizzly", with numerous corpses strewn about the place.
As for Jade, Game Informer notes that she’ll once again be chucking boomerangs as her projectile weapon of choice, while her costume is said to be an amalgamation of her Ultimate MKIII and Deception outfits.
Elsewhere, MK mastermind Ed Boon’s quoted saying that no decision has been made in regards to whether or not 360 owners will be getting an exclusive character of their own to compensate for the inclusion of Kratos in the PS3 release.
Mortal Kombat is due out in April 2011.
