Rockstar has announced that it will finally be pinning a release date on its hotly anticipated detective ‘em up L.A. Noire in the not-too-distant future.
The industry giant Twitter teased the following earlier today: “L.A. Noire is coming to Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3 this spring. The official release date will be announced soon…”
Rockstar first lifted the wraps off the Team Bondi-developed title over five years ago, where it was originally touted as a PS3-exclusive. However, it was later revealed that the thriller would also be coming to Xbox 360.
L.A. Noire transports players to the gritty, crime-ridden streets of 1940s Los Angeles where you’ll be hopping in to the shoes of fellow LAPD copper, Cole Phelps. The game boasts a highly sophisticated motion-capture system that will prove central to the interrogation mechanic used throughout gameplay, allowing you to spot when a suspect is withholding info by scrutinizing their facial expressions.
Stay tuned for more info as it breaks.
