Industry heavyweights including the likes of EA and Valve have already signed on the dotted line for this year’s GamesCom, organiser Koelnmesse’s announced.
Scheduled for August 17-21, the event has already attracted registrations from US, Canada, Korea, the UK, France, Switzerland, Poland and the Netherlands. Last year’s event pulled in a whopping 254,000 visitors.
"Gamescom 2011 is assuming a definite shape at a pleasantly early stage", commented Oliver Kuhrt, Koelnmesse’s executive vice president, during a chat with MCV.
