In what seems to be a recurring nightmare for F.E.A.R. fanatics, the third instalment in the horror-shooter franchise has been subjected to yet another delay, with the game pushed back from May 27 to June 24 in the UK.
News comes via a Twitter post by UK retailer GameGears, with publisher Warner Bros. Interactive later confirming the news to VideoGamer. No reason was given for the delay, however.
F.E.A.R. 3’s release has been shoved back more times than a Guns ‘N Roses album, with the game originally having been pencilled in for release in late 2010.
The game pits players in the shoes of siblings Point Man and Paxton Fettel, each one packing his own preferred method for dispatching the various beasts you’ll encounter. The former favours filling baddies with hot lead, while the latter utilizes fancy telekinesis-based attacks.
Fingers crossed for no more delays, eh folks?
