It looks like we won’t have to wait much longer for a full Modern Warfare 3 reveal - just one more week by the look of it.
Today, a countdown timer on Amazon, which has since been pulled, revealed that Tuesday, May 24 is the date when Activision will officially unveil the title. Despite numerous leaks and a teaser trailer, Modern Warfare 3 hasn't actually yet been formally announced, but that hasn’t stopped online retailers going ahead with their preorder plans. GAME already lists the title as releasing on November 8. It was around the same period last year that Activision released Call Of Duty Black Ops, which swiftly went on to become the biggest selling game of 2010.
To add further weight to the rumour of a reveal next week, GAME has apparently sent an email to customers warning them to expect "more intel" on Modern Warfare 3 on May 24. All we can do now is just sit and wait.
