Sony’s detailed the slew of titles that will be kicking off its PlayStation Network Import initiative in the U.K. this week.
Punters will be able to pick up Arc the Lad, Sonic Wings Special and Cho Aniki, each of which will be available in their original incarnation and therefore require 60Hz displays.
The ports themselves were handled by the chaps at MonkeyPaw Games, who have been responsible for converting Japanese PSOne titles for the U.S. market since September 2010.
For those unfamiliar with the games, Arc the Lad originally hit PlayStation in Japan way back in 1995, and takes the form of a tactical RPG in a similar vein to Final Fantasy Tactics.
Sonic Wings Special, meanwhile, is a vertically-scrolling shooter and originally hit stores in 1996 for PlayStation and Sega Saturn. It combines various elements seen in the first three Sonic Wings titles, with the PSOne version featuring enhanced music and sound effects.
Lastly, obscure offering Cho Aniki is best illustrated by Sony’s dedicated post on the PlayStation Blog, which labels the game as "a comic display of homoerotic, over-the-top graphics and Japanese wackiness on every level."
