Capcom’s lifted the veil on a Resident Evil Chronicles HD Collection for Japan.
The bundle features former Wii-exclusive rail shooters Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles with high definition visuals and PlayStation Move functionality. Resident Evil is known as Biohazard in Japan.
The news comes via a special anniversary event earlier today, though it should be pointed out that Capcom didn’t say whether or not the bundle would be coming to western regions.
Umbrella Chronicles sees players replaying events from Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, as well as a brand new scenario set in Russian in 2003. Playable characters include Rebecca Chambers, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and Hunk.
Darkside Chronicles, meanwhile, focuses on events from Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica, and includes appearances by Claire Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy and Steve Burnside. The game also features an all-new mission pairing Leon and Jack Krauser.
