According to the latest issue of Famitsu magazine (via Siliconera), futuristic racer WipEout 2048 will hit Japan on January 19.
This means the game will miss PlayStation Vita’s launch in the region by just over the month, as the handheld launches in Japan on December 17.
WipEout 2048 will retail for 4,980 yen for the boxed copy, which roughly translates to £40. The download version, however, will cost 3,900 yen (around £31).
Sony’s said that it hopes this latest racer will win over gamers who weren’t fussed about previous WipEout titles, as the game will feature wider track designs compared to past entries.
