BioWare is apparently looking to include a multiplayer component in its Dragon Age franchise going forward, reports Kotaku.
According to insider whispers, the multiplayer will take the form of arena battles against monsters and AI, or other human-controlled opponents.
In fact, gamers will even be able to step into the scaly feet of a dragon, so we’re led to believe.
Kotaku’s insider adds that the multiplayer is being developed using DICE’s acclaimed Frostbite 2 engine, and is said to be looking mighty impressive.
However, it remains unknown if multiplayer will be included in the hotly-anticipated Dragon Age III, or made available via a separate download.
Dragon Age III has yet to be officially unveiled, though received something of an informal announcement via a Tweet by BioWare’s Alistair McNally back in May.
