According to EGM, Namco Bandai and From Software are planning to release downloadable content for Dark Souls.
The DLC will apparently be out in Q1 2012, supposedly under the name of Yama No Mori, which roughly translates to Forest of Darkness or Dark Forest. No further details were revealed, however.
From Software previously indicated that the brutal RPG wouldn’t receive any post-launch pleasures, with director Hidetaka Miyazaki commenting last year no DLC was in the pipeline.
Dark Souls launched in October 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Read our review here.
