THQ and Ultimate Fighting Championship organization today revealed online feature details for UFC Undisputed 3, the forthcoming game based on UFC. The online features include a franchise-first community content sharing, improved online matchmaking and the return of Fight Camps.
Online Exhibition features ranked matches. You’ll select a fighter, referee, and venue within UFC or PRIDE Mode. You can also use a quick match to automate matchmaking or create a custom match. Ranked matches will earn you Fighting Points grade and rank, along with Fight Camp leaderboards.
The game will also get new servers to improve online play. Parameters on ranked matches will ensure fairness for leaderboard participants. Fighter Points enables players to compare ranks and show off their skill levels. The game will automatically save gameplay footage from fight rounds, up to the 50 most recent, and enable players to go back and watch their matches again. You can upload your videos to the community hub, where you can also show off your logo designs and share items with other opponents around the world. Finally, fight camp returns, and allows players to develop a camp ID for their camp—you can create your own or join another.
UFC Undisputed 3 is set for release on Feb. 14 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
