Hideo Kojima’s confirmed that the upcoming Zone of the Enders HD Collection will include the Special Edition version of ZoE: The 2nd Runner.
Kojima-san dropped the news on Twitter, where he posted a screenshot of the 2nd Runner’s menu screen. The game is known as Anubis in its native Japan.
The Special Edition, previously unreleased in North America, includes various bonus content such as new cutscenes, extra difficulty settings and additional missions.
Zone of the Enders HD Collection is due out in 2012 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and Xbox 360. In addition to spruced up visuals, it’ll also feature Trophy/Achievement support, redrawn art and enhanced audio.
