WRC 3 will be swerving into stores in October 2012 for PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation Vita, Milestone has announced.
The official video game companion to the 2012 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), the racer will feature an all-new game and visuals, and includes all rallies in the 2012 WRC calendar as well as leading teams and drivers.
Meanwhile, the new graphics engine – dubbed Spikengine – allows for meticulously-realised particle and lighting effects, with crowds also benefiting from a facelift.
Cars have been totally revamped allowing for realistic handling and life-like visuals, and Milestone says the entire experience has been “streamlined” to afford “instant gameplay satisfaction.”
In total, there’s more than 50 official teams alongside Class 2 and Class 3 series, and players can also look forward to Super Special Stages and fresh cinematic introductions to each course.
