Konami’s confirmed that it’ll release free downloadable content for Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 this week in the form of the Copa Santander Libertadores mode.
For those unaware, Copa Santander Libertadores is the South American equivalent of the Champion’s league. As such, the DLC includes all 38 teams, rosters as well as the official ball for this year’s tournament.
In addition, Konami noted that “selected parts of the game have been refined for a more fluid in-game experience” as a result of the update.
Konami yesterday announced PES 2013 for a fall 2012 release on multiple platforms.
