E3 2012: Sony announces updates to PSN, PSone classics for Vita

Sony today announced some changes coming to the PlayStation Network that includes more free games for Plus Subscribers, and PSOne classics for the PS Vita. In addition, you can expect to see 200 digital titles coming in the next 12 months.

Just this month you’ll get 12 games like inFamous 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, and Saint Row 2 for free if you are a PS Plus subscriber. Those will all be available tomorrow. We’ll see more games rotated all the time. “PS Plus now delivers an instant game collection to members for $5 a month,” said Jack Tretton, president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America.

In addition, Tretton announced the PSOne classics are heading to the PS Vita, including Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy VII. More services like Hulu Plus and Crackle Television are also coming to PS Vita soon.
