Final Fantasy XIV: The Fate of Eorzea resurfaces with debut trailer

Final Fantasy fans rejoice, your long awaited PlayStation 3 massive-multiplayer online game is definitely on its way, and today we have some new details, including a debut CGI trailer. Square Enix announced today the fully-redesigned Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, previously referenced as version 2.0. The title has been built from the ground up and center on core concepts of rebirth, including a new world for you explore with your friends.

"Since announcing our plans for the future of the title last October, we have been working tirelessly to include all of the elements that we have promised in FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn. This new title not only becomes a symbol of a completely new FINAL FANTASY XIV, but also marks the beginning of a new stage as the latest title in the FINAL FANTASY series. I hope you're looking forward to it!" said Naoki Yoshida, Producer/Director of FINAL FANTASY XIV.

Square says we should expect some “visually-stunning graphics and game design that appeal to both Windows PC and PlayStation 3” players. Be sure to check out the debut trailer.
