Supermassive Games’ Until Dawn was among an impressive crop of new titles announced at Sony’s Gamescom presser on Tuesday evening, attracting quite a lot of praise in the process.
Due out in 2013 on PlayStation 3, the game boasts all the credentials of a Teen Horror outing, offering a young cast, an isolated location and a script brimming with scares and humour.
Compatible with PlayStation Move, Until Dawn sees eight teens commemorating the anniversary of their friend’s death with a trip to a remote mountain location, where they find themselves stalked by a mysterious killer. Players can control up to seven characters and must ensure their survival through the night, witnessing their relationships evolve over the course of the game.
Sony’s released the first batch of screenshots, which you can see in our Until Dawn gallery. Check out a teaser shot below – click for full size.
