Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima has expressed his frustration at people constantly asking him what Project Ogre is – and confirmed once and for all that it’s not Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes.
Kojima-san was speaking in light of Ground Zeroes North American debut at PAX Prime in Seattle, USA over the weekend.
“While I am happy to know people liked ‘MGS Ground Zeroes,’ I’m sick & tired of people keep asking me like ‘is that project Ogre?’ here in Seattle everyday. Project Ogre is what the project that Ogre appears. Ogre does not appear in ‘MGS Ground Zeroes’ trailer," he Tweeted.
Project Ogre is of course the mysterious title that Kojima Production is apparently working on alongside Ground Zeroes, and will be made using the new Fox Engine. Nothing on the game has ever been revealed though, so quite what it is remains up in the air at present.
Ground Zeroes is an all-new entry in the Metal Gear Solid series starring Big Boss, and will be released for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.
