Bethesda’s Pete Hines has taken to Twitter to reassure gamers that it is still working at bringing DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim to PlayStation 3.
Hines’ comments come in light of the latest batch of DLC, Hearthfire, hitting Steam following the Xbox 360 release a few weeks back. However, PS3 owners are still patiently awaiting the launch of Dawnguard, which has been available on 360 and PC since the summer.
“We’re still on it. Will share update when I have one,” said Hines.
Quizzed further as to why the content has yet to show up on Sony’s flagship console, he explained: “The performance isn’t good enough in all cases. For most folks, it’d be fine. For some, it wouldn’t be.”
“We’ve never blamed anyone or anything. It’s our problem, and it’s on us to solve it,” he added.
Skyrim was released back in November 2011 to critical and commercial success. Check out our review here.
