Rockstar Games Collection is official

12 October 2012

Rockstar has officially announced the release of the Rockstar Games Collection Episode 1 in the U.S. this holiday season.

Due out on November 6 for the sum of $59.99, the bundle includes four of the industry giant’s biggest release from this generation of consoles: Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire and Midnight Club: Los Angeles.

Those of you who haven’t sampled the delights of Rockstar Games this gen would do well to pick this up, as the amount of quality bang you will be getting for your buck is quite unprecedented to say the least.

GTA: Episodes from Liberty City was released in April 2010 and combines GTA IV expansions Lost and Damned and the Ballad of Gay Tony on a single disc. Red Dead Redemption meanwhile is an open-world  adventure which sees gamers controlling John Marston as he hunts down his former gang members across the vast American Old West.

L.A. Noire, developed by Team Bondi, hit stores last year and takes place in post-war Los Angeles, where gamers take on the role of officer Cole Phelps as he investigates a series of crimes spanning five departments. Finally, Midnight Club: Los Angeles arrived back in 2008 and features a sprawling, open-world L.A. to cruise around and an extensive multiplayer mode.

No mention of a European release for the collection, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted. Stay tuned to PSU.com for more details.
