The creator of BioShock Infinite, Irrational Games, has seen the departure of two key staff members this week.
Combat designer Clint Bundrick and AI lead Don Norbury have both jumped ship to join up with Microsoft, reports Superannuation.
This isn’t the only time the studio has lost developers to the Big M, either. BioShock Infinite producer, Joseph Faulstick, previously quit for Microsoft Game Studios to work on as-yet unannounced projects – possibly pertaining to the Xbox 720.
Unfortunately, BioShock Infinite has been plagued by a few road blocks during its development.
Aside from the fact the game has been delayed from holiday 2012 to February 2013, the project suffered the loss of Tim Gerritsen and Nate Wells, product development director and art director on the cerebral shooter, respectively, earlier this year.
Rumors have also been doing the rounds that a multiplayer component was in the works for the game but ultimately scrapped. It has also been suggested that AI companion Elizabeth is causing the team a few headaches, though none of these reports have been corroborated.
Still, it’s not all bad news though. Irrational Games is prepping a brand new trailer for BioShock Infinite this weekend, so keep your eyes peeled.
