Developer Eidos Montreal looks set to lift the veil on an unannounced project at some point in the next few months.
That’s at least according to the LinkedIn profile of Alexandre Richer (spotted by Superannuation), who had worked at the studio as a UI/programmer from August 2011 until January 2013.
Interestingly, Richer’s CV makes note of an ‘unannounced project,’ of which more details are expected to emerge ‘within the upcoming months.’
Of course, the first game that springs to mind is Thief 4; the elusive next entry in the popular stealth-based adventure franchise, which was confirmed back in May 2009. However, little else has been said on the game since, though rumors have indicated it will have a multiplayer component.
Internet gossip has suggested it won’t be a current-gen title though, with the sequel supposedly in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox 720.
We’ll have more details on Thief 4 as they become available.
