BioShock: Infinite will receive three downloadable content packs, 2K Games and Irrational Games have announced.
The DLC will offer a host of new content, including extra characters, abilities, and weapons, plus hours of additional gameplay.
In addition, both firms also confirmed that the hotly-anticipated shooter will receive a Season Pass.
Players can purchase the Season Pass on March 26, day-and-date with the launch of BioShock: Infinite. It’ll set you back £15.99 on PlayStation Network and 1600 Microsoft Points via Xbox LIVE.
In total, the pass will pack roughly £24 worth of content, saving you more than 30% off individual pricing. As you’d expect, all three DLC packs are included in the pass.
Gamers who pre-order the Season Pass will bag the Early Bird Special Pack at no additional cost. The pack throws in four exclusive goodies, namely a Machine Gun Damage Upgrade, Pistol Damage Upgrade, a gold skin to kit out both weapons with, and five Infusion bottles.
BioShock: Infinite is due out on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360. The game transports players to the floating city of Columbia, where the main character, agent Booker DeWitt, is tasked with rescuing a mysterious woman named Elizabeth during the midst of a civil war.
