The development team behind the critically-acclaimed Metal Gear Solid franchise has officially set up shop in Los Angeles.
Hideo Kojima confirmed during his GDC panel this week that Kojima Productions has made its home in L.A.’s Hercules Campus, Playa Vista, at a new 30,000 sq ft studio.
The company’s philosophy is clear: producing “the highest quality interactive entertainment which brings deep emotional experiences,” while maintaining a “quality first” approach.
Kojima-san hopes this will help the studio reach its intended goal of becoming the “top studio in the world.”
The Japanese branch of Kojima Productions is currently working on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
