Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon will be released in May for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, Ubisoft has announced.
As previously reported, the 80s-inspired actioner – developed by Ubisoft Montreal – offers a ‘VHS-era vision of the future,’ where gamers bust the bad guys, save the world and bag the girl in the process.
Blood Dragon will pack roughly eight hours of content in the main campaign, featuring “infinite open world filled with cyber murder.”
Players hop into the boots of Sergeant Rex Colt; a part-man, part-machine American cyber-commando on a mission of revenge to take down his old commander and gaggle of killer cyborgs.
Keeping in with the 80s theme, legendary action man Michael Biehn will be lending his voice to the project, with the score being provided by Australia’s Power Glove.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon will be released on May 1. Stay tuned for more information here at PSU.com.
