Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has uploaded the newest software update for the PlayStation Vita.
Optional software update 2.12, as previously reported, will only stabilize minor functionality with some features. Unfortunately, the PS Vita features that have been stabilized were not specified in the official Sony Twitter post.
PS Vita users have been receiving rather frequent firmware updates, considering that last month two versions, 2.10 and 2.11, were launched within a week of each other. Perhaps some of the major additions that were implemented with firmware 2.10 had some needed tweaking.
If Sony releases more information on this update, we will be sure to update accordingly.
