The Brazilian ratings board has seemingly outed a high-definition remake of the original Far Cry.
The ratings body’s official website lists Far Cry HD for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, though doesn’t reveal any additional details.
Far Cry was developed by Crytek and originally released on the PC in March 2004. The game sees Jack Carver, a former U.S. Army Special Forces operative, stranded on a mysterious archipelago in search of a missing female journalist he was previously escorting.
The latest instalment in the franchise, Far Cry 3, has shipped six million copies to date and spawned the downloadable, standalone 80s-inspired shooter, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
