The Battlefield franchise is set to receive a truckload of merchandise over the next few months, Electronic Arts and DICE have revealed.
The timing isn’t perhaps surprising, given the fact the next chapter in the Battlefield series will be hitting consoles and PC later this year.
DICE has teamed up with a number of licensing partners to create a variety of merchandise to boost Battlefield’s profile in modern pop culture. Fans can expect a range of books, including a Peter Grimsdale-penned novel, an art book as well as strategy guides from Prima Games.
Not only that, but the merchandise push also extends to gaming hardware, with PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 both receiving PDP performance controllers, while PC gamers can enjoy Qpad premium mouse mats.
If that wasn’t enough, a range of Battlefield clothing will also be up for grabs courtesy of Jinx, including t-shirts, hoodies, hats, key chains and dog tags.
Meanwhile, BigBen Interactive is prepping a range of Battlefield-branded cases for mobile phones and tablets. Cook & Becker will be flogging BF4 art work from its online art store, too.
Battlefield 4 is scheduled to ship in North America on October 29 and in Europe on November 1.
