Square Enix has confirmed to GameSpot that Murdered Soul Suspect will be released after March 2014.
The game had previously only been targeted for a Q1 2014 release, so this at least narrows things down a bit.
Murdered: Soul Suspect is due out on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360, and sees protagonist Detective Ronan O’ Connor solving his own murder case while battling against demonic forces.
According to Yosuke Shiokawa, the game’s creative director, Murdered: Soul Suspect’s concept was born out of the Bruce Willis action flick Die Hard, only Shiokawa-san wondered what it would be like if hero John McClane was killed but continued to fight as a ghost.
The game is being powered by the Unreal Engine 3 and is in development at Airtight Games.
