Square Enix plans to showcase its upcoming PlayStation 4 Disney-RPG Kingdom Hearts III at the Tokyo Game Show in September.
The hotly-anticipated sequel, which is also coming to Xbox One in the not-too-distant future, will be joined at Japan’s biggest video game show by the likes of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.
Speculation is mounting as to whether Square Enix may announce the planned Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX at the show, though nothing has been set in stone yet.
The full line-up can be seen here. Thanks goes out to Kingdom Hearts Insider for the scoop.
Kingdom Hearts III was announced at E3 during Sony’s press conference, where it was confirmed to be in the early stages of development.
The Kingdom Hearts franchise itself celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, with Square Enix marking the occasion with the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX; a high-definition remake of the original game, Re: Chain of Memories, plus HD cut-scenes of 358/2 Days.
